Caleb is learning to be the big brother. Finally, he's starting to interact with Riley. Here, he's trying to give Riley a bottle except that as soon as Riley gets attached, Caleb takes the bottle away.
Caleb now opens the car door to Riley's side so I can put Riley inside and always makes sure that I have my diaper bag with me.
Caleb shows Riley how to play with the toys on his floor gym and likes to read books to Riley. He also likes to help give Riley his sponge bath. When Caleb feels that I have held Riley long enough, he points to the swing and says, "mommy, baby here", just in case I've forgotten where the baby can sit....alone.
It's so different having two babies..more work, but twice the reward, more mommy guilt, but twice the joy.

That is one of my treasured moments as a mother-when my kids help and serve each other. It's just the beginning!
Not long and Caleb will bringing you chicken soup. John loves being "the man of the house" and helping me especially when I am not feeling well.
Man I love the picture of Riley in the car seat...so precious. It is fun to see the big ones help. Has Caleb gotten over protective when someone want to hold his brother? Jordan was like that with Landon especially. There will be a time soon when Caleb won't even remember what it was like without his little brother!!
I told Terry that you had floor plans and square footage before you left, so we asked the sponsor if she could help us out. She has been amazing and super fast! Yesterday we asked for a an APO box and today we got it. She submitted our housing application and is on the ball!
The housing looks pretty good. And it looks like it may be a good chance that we almost walk right into a house. That would be great although I will miss the 'English' experience a bit.
But I wanted to say if you want to see some incredibly base housing, follow the link to Nelladee on my blog. He is a Master Chief and the housing available to him is pretty awesome! And the new housing on Belvoir is nice. Anyhow, I"m rambling-I love the power of blog talking!
