We had an earthquake last night!!! It hit the northern part of Japan, but we felt tremors from it here. At about 1:45 am I woke up to my bed moving and Riley rocking back and forth in his bassinett. Caleb never woke up. It's a weird feeling to have the earth moving underneath you.

Was that your first one? I went through several when we lived in CA. Always a bit nerve wracking-wouldn't you say?
We had a big earthquake here in Missouri about 3 weeks ago. I also woke up to the whole bed shaking, handles on furniture clanking. My husband said it was wind, but I knew better. It woke one out of my 4 kids up. She said her bed was shaking as well. It actually happened in Southern Il, but we felt it here (over 300 miles away). I enjoy reading your blog. I'm still struggling with minee!!! It's so frustrating. I will get it up and running soon with Jen's help.
