Life Lesson #2
I know that many of you already practice this lesson, but I have been slow to the idea. My life lesson #2 is make a meal plan. My idea of a meal plan has always been to have items that we eat on a normal basis in the house, open the freezer the afternoon of and try to put together a meal. It's worked ok for the last 13 years, but now my time is VERY limited!! So now, I sit down and write out on a calendar what we'll be eating for each day of the week. I've done 2 weeks and it has saved me so much time and sanity. I love it! It makes grocery shopping easier and it makes dinner time relaxing. If you're not already practicing this lesson, try it!

Isn't that wonderful. This is what Dan and I have done. About ever 8 months we change it up. We love it, it is a no thinking process and if you want you can type up everything you need at the store by week and just print it out once a week. This is something I have wanted to do for years, just never did. Take care and happy meal making
I rencently went to a power cooking class done by a friend who is a en the pampered chef person...wow I had 5 instant meals and was amazed at how quick they were all from one 5 lb batch of hamburger ( I wouldn't have had a clue what to do with it) the recipes are so easy you make all 5 at once and freeze them flatten the ziplocks and freeze then pull out one a day.... I will send you the recipes they are so cool and everyone ate them.. that was even more amazing to me that never happens that all the kids like something at once and sam too !
I love doing it and it makes me annoyed that I cannot really do it right now. I just don't have my recipes! But I love doing it!
