And then, I hear Riley put 3 words together to make a sentence and I notice that Caleb is putting his coat on without assistance and I realize that each day is not the same and that I'm not just moving in circles. I am teaching my kids something new each day. I am a vital part of society. It's hard to remember that when there's not a regular paycheck coming in or an annual evaluation or awards for the most valuable employee.

Love it, Rachael. I feel exactly the same. Circles, lots of them; but then suddenly a triangle, a square and maybe even a rectangle!! Can't wait for you to be back in the area. Can we say 11 months now?
SO true..I had this day yesterday : ) I feel like I am either on a hamster wheel or part of the " If you give a mouse a cookie book" But it is amazing when things happen that remind us why we are part of the insanity.
How true, Rachael! What I find so exciting is that you are putting your days in writing so that some day your 'babies' will be able to see their mom from a whole different perspective!
You're awesome! Don't ever forget it!
