As many of you know, I have been putting off buying a new computer. Well, the time has come. I can no longer download pictures, and many times I can't post on Facebook and at other times, I haven't been able to open my blog page (hence why I haven't posted).
The dilemma has been whether or not to buy a PC or a MAC. I have only owned PCs and I have never used a MAC. So, I thought my choice was pretty easy. But, Shawn has been insisting that a MAC is better and will last longer (I've had my current PC for 5 years). So, I've been looking into the MAC and I'm surprisingly impressed with how user friendly it seems.
Now, the dilemma isn't whether to buy a PC or MAC, but instead which MAC to buy... I'm waiting for Shawn to get home to help me decide. Hurry home honey!

Mac is the way to go. No virus. I was hard headed to switch over, but Love Mac now. Get a laptop. With kids it is the best thing to have. Good luck with your purchase.
when Sam got our MAC and swore it was the greatest thing in the world..... I pouted stomped my feet swore a little... called customer service a lot to ask questions like ( how do I find this button ?) I swore that it was his Mistress and we couldn't live in the same house together..... when he was deployed and I didn't have my favorite shortcuts I threatened to exile it from the house.....
Then before I really realized ( and about 6 moths later I had to use a PC) I realized that my MAC was awesome ( wait till you set your widgets on your dashboard)... there we cooler short cuts.. the programs worked better and faster and I was more organized than ever.... and none of the customer service people wehere in a foriegn country and I could call them at anytime and they took me seriously ( ask about the time the voice on the computer wouldn't turn off) and they NEVER laughed at me and were always cool fun people to talk to no matter how many times I called.....
I actually liked going to the MAC store ( oh that genius bar is amazing)
that I could sink 5 ipods at once and it wouldn't blink and eye I could run 9 applications at once and it would miss a beat.......
that when we had a "problem" it was covered by our warranty with no hassle and no data was lost and it didn't take hours...and again those genius bars are cool places....
when I could do amazing things with our pictures or watch a movie ..or better yet a TV show in Germany like I was watching HD....
I could ichat and skype without all kinds of equipment......
when my desk became un cluttered and little kids couldn't turn my computer on and off or loose my files......... and that suddenly this MAC was my best friend.... oh and my planner could sync without hassle I can get calendar alerts for appointments through e-mail.....
I realized that maybe the mistress and I could be best friends and I LOVE the MAC and could never live without it and I want a laptop MAC to accompany her so we can all hang out ( which Sam links his laptop MAC to the big mac with no effort or cords.....)
I could NEVER go back to a PC and now I am an annoying MAC follower... I used to shun.....
3 years and it runs like we bought it yesterday.. it is still under warranty...... and I can't imagine life without it !
MAC worth every penny !!!!!
even if you are overseas.... they are amazing.. ours went to Germany and back :)
Sam's laptop MAC has been to Iraq twice...Africa.....all over the US and places I don't even want to imagine ...and it is also 3 years old and works and looks like it did the day we bought it.....
Steve and I just couldn't seperate ourselves from a PC. Even though a MAC sounds great it is hard for these old dogs to change. lol
