Today is Shawn and I's 13th wedding anniversary. We started this whole journey at the Justice of the Peace in Norfolk, Va. I was wearing a pair of white Levi shorts and a blouse. A friend of ours at the time drove us because we didn't have a car and he just so happened to also be our witness (because he was there). I remember the justice was listening to "Andy Rooney" when we walked into his office. We started to repeat our vows and I started to laugh and then I started to cry. I never took my eyes off of Shawn and 13 years later I still can't take my eyes off of him.
It has been a wonderful, exciting, difficult at times, adventure and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us. We got married as kids and we've grown up learning about each other and the world. I've learned that commitment is one of the most gratifying accomplishments that one can own. Happy Anniversay Honey (where ever you are in the sea today). I love sharing my life with you.

As per your questions, we moved into my parents' house yesterday. It has been good-kind of like a fun party for the kids. They have been great. An added bonus is that m y mom is taking all of next week off and will be a kind of fill in baby-sitter for me. Will work out well. The kids are sleeping well here also.
I'm not sure that they understand what is going on. They haven't seen our stuff packed up yet. The m overs come tomorrow for storage and then the big packing starts Tuesday. I'm not sure that I want them to come back over and see the empty house or not.
It has been a lot of work just deciding what to bring. I hope that I packed well. We are going to the Melting Pot tomorrow night for my good bye dinner. I"m looking forward to eating there one more time and soaking up the women's company. I still cannot imagine that soon enough the day will come when I cannot just pick up the phone and call them. I guess that I'll learn soon enough.
